Ability to zoom in and out on your mobile phone by plucking fingers has long been familiar to most users. However, a new patent from Microsoft can radically change the way scale images in smartphones.
The patent is called "Toggle between" and its essence is to change the zoom on the smartphone screen by approaching or removing devices from the user's eyes.
For example, holding a smart phone at arm's length, we can see on the screen a smaller version of the picture, as you get closer to the eyes device, the image will change. This technology can be used in the gallery, maps, or when browsing web pages in the browser.
To determine the distance to the user's eye smartphone will use the built proximity sensor and front camera.

winbeta.org reports that one of the patent applications may be the presence of two options for displaying content on the smartphone screen. These modes are automatically switched by changing the distance between the user and gadget.
Currently technology is in the production step of the patent . Whether it will be implemented in future smartphones, is still unknown.
